Program for Holocaust Survivors and Families

Founded in 1993 by Dr. Charles Silow, a devoted son of Survivors, the Program for Holocaust Survivors and Families (PHSF) was created to provide compassionate emotional and psychosocial support to aging Jewish Holocaust Survivors and their loved ones.

Survivors carry the weight of unimaginable loss, and many face profound anxiety and depression as they age. Our program is a sanctuary—offering not only traditional counseling but also innovative programs designed to bring comfort, connection, and a sense of peace. Every gathering, every conversation, every moment spent together is an opportunity to ease fears, foster hope, and ensure that no Survivor feels alone.

These vital services remain completely free of charge, thanks to the generosity of donors like you. Your support honors their resilience, preserves their stories, and ensures that every Survivor in our community receives the care and dignity they deserve.
